Are you serious, Joe? The kid is a matchup problem waiting to happen for other teams. This is the type of kid that Gary is going to be able to mold to fit his team just right. No sense in redshirting him to serve a typical purpose next year. He is a 6'8" shooter. Tell me how you plan on defending that? Do you put your 4 on him (if we are running 3 other guards) and allow Jin Soo to use his quickness to beat the big boy guarding him? Or do you use a 3 to guard him (if Gary is also slotting Jin Soo as a 3) where he clearly has the size advantage on everything?

I know it was just a quick glimpse today and a lot of fans got a renewed sense of faith with the "South Korean Sensation." He plays hard and seems to really love the game. Those are two qualities that can't be taught but Gary can use those to make him the best possible talent he can be.

i think Jin soo would be better off red shirting so he can bulking up rest that shoulder. His weight for his height is not okay for ACC material for a postman or even a 3. Lets hope he doesn't turn in the that other highly Maryland recruit who Gary called a really great shooter as well. Who?....MIKE JONES. But who can blame Gary. He needs all the shooter he can get since Maryland seems to not have much of a inside game. Will Gary have a four guard line up that worked for Villanova few years ago? This is going to be a very interesting year. For the first time in a while, i don't think anyone can predict which Maryland team will take the floor. Will it be like the early 2000s with NCAA and ACC titles or the scrub of recent years? The only thing i'm looking forward to this year and the next four years is how Jin Soo will grow. I say he will average 7 points and 2 rebounds and 30% from behind the arc this season. Go Terps!
