Why is it that Friedgen is so successful at recruiting players from DeMatha (the closest HS to MD with the possible exception of Parkdale) but gary Williams continues to ignore the supply of talent at his doorstep?
To take just one example, Austin Freeman grew up rooting for the Terps and dreaming of playing for them. Freeman was clearly a prospect from the start of his sophmore year but Gary had other priorities and JT3 moved in and captured a great recruit.
Last night's game should be proof enough of the error of Williams' ways.
