Lil’ Wayne Not Welcome at Shipley

A lot of things have probably set Terrapin baseball coach Terry Rupp off in his career as a coach, but who knew that Lil’ Weezy would be one of them.

Before the game the players like to go out onto the field and warmup, and normally while they stretch, the loud sounds of country music or alternative rock accompany them.

According to multiple sources in the press box before today’s game against UMES, all coaches are in charge of the music that is played before their home games, however, it would be reasonable for one to assume that the coach would not be worried with such triviality and would leave the music selection to the players.

But apparently not Rupp, he has his own ideas.

The normal selection that can be heard over the loudspeakers at Shipley Field is an eclectic mix of the same eight country songs, mixed in with the obligatory AC/DC “pump-up” jams.

But today, before the game, the people in charge of the sound system were without a CD, and of course the show must go on, so one of the girls working operations decided to take it upon herself to save the day and volunteer her phone to provide the soundtrack for the time being.

Unfortunately the majority of her music consisted of rap, and unbeknownst to everyone except SID Joey Flyntz, Coach Rupp is not a big rap guy…in fact, it’s safe to say he hates the stuff.

So, after one or two songs of hip-hop went by without incident, the familiar bass and melody (if you can call it that) of “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” by Birdman and Lil’ Wayne came across the speakers.

Coach Rupp decided the team had filled their rap quota for the day, and dispatched the team manager up to the press box to complain, and shortly thereafter, the familiar acoustic sounds of Brad Paisley’s “Celebrity” could be heard.

So Lil’ Wayne be warned, while you may be one of the most popular musical artists currently, you are not welcome at Shipley Field, and won’t be as long as Terry Rupp still roams the dugout.

It’s a good thing coach Rupp doesn’t allow Lil Wayne’s music to come out of those loud speakers. After all, Lil Wayne’s music leads to hell; he is the Anti-Christ!! Visit http://www.be-refined.com for a sound biblical exposure.

May God give the reader His truth…

    Brandon,

Your own thoughts and judgments are FUTILE (Psa 94:11). Show me from the word of God how Lil Wayne is NOT the Antichrist. Otherwise, you judge by your own standard (Mar 7:7), which leads to hell (Rom 2:8).

May God give you His truth…

    Tim Lemon,

I hope that you are joking. If not, you’re stupid. You give Christianity a bad name. Do you know what the Bible calls people that takes things from the Bible out of context and spread false truths? Those people are known as false prophets. Please don’t use the Bible as a source for you own personal conclusions.

    Hey Jeremy,

At least you know what a false prophet is. Nonetheless, you have given NOT ONE example from the scriptures on how I fit that descritption. Do you know what the Bible calls people that don’t use the bible as there source of making a judgment upon people? Those people are knows as hypocrites who judge by their own standard (Matt 7:1-5); therefore you stand in judgement of the law itself (God’s word) (James 4:11).

Furthermore, the bible is NOT open to anyone’s “own personal conclusions”, as you have stated; according to 2Pet 1:20. Thanks for calling me stupid though (Matt 5:11-12).

May God give you His truth…
