Quick notes on Terps-Hopkins

BALTIMORE – Some key notes from M&T Bank Stadium:

  • Will Yeatman is not playing. Terp SID Patrick Fischer informed us that he has a sprained ankle. Travis Reed has filled in admirably so far.
  • Michael Gvozden is having a great game for the Blue Jays. He seems to be especially good at reading shots from Grant Catalino.
  • Jeremy Sieverts and Dan Groot appear to be playing all-out, with nothing to lose. The senior midfielders both have two goals, and all four have been on exceptionally hard shots from the perimeter.
  • Dan Burns has looked good at both long pole and short stick so far today, while Anthony Costanzo has made an impact on the man-down.
  • The Terps have been uncharacteristically clean as far as passing goes. The game, as a whole, has been pretty good with the exception of a series of third-quarter penalties.
