Coleman, Vasquez work out with some friends…

Last week, Comcast SportsNet did a report (see embedded video above) on a couple of Terps and their training regimens this summer.

Included were Greivis Vasquez, still considering whether to leave College Park to go pro, and Marissa Coleman, newly-minted professional with the Washington Mystics.

Dave Adkins is a pretty well-known basketball coach in the area. He was an assistant coach at Montrose Christian before joining the staff at DeMatha – which explains the connection with Vasquez and fellow trainee Kevin Durant.

Also in Comcast’s report: former Gonzaga center/NBA Draft hopeful Josh Heytvelt and P.G. County native/Tennessee point guard/former Terp commit Bobby Maze.

This is not the first time Coleman and Vasquez have teamed up with Adkins. Before last offseason, the two would often make the short trip down Route 1 to DeMatha for early-morning workouts. Now they have a couple of other players – this Durant guy might have a future – to join up with as the summer begins.

Also interesting to note: Vasquez, sporting his “Win 2″ ACC Tournament motivational t-shirt,  gave no clues as to what his NBA decision will be.
