You might as well call last night’s 7-0 blowout Terp victory extra credit, because everybody’s marks are a couple points higher than they’d otherwise be against… well, most other teams.
Swaim: N/A. No. 2 goalie didn’t have to do much but let his field players run circles around the Dukes on both ends.
Lee: 7.5. Linked well with midfielders and had the fortune of having an assist deflected to the best man on the field, Townsend.
White: 8. The Dukes got in behind him once, but he made up for it with a long-awaited dead ball goal in the second half.
Tangney: 7. Senior defender played the longest of the defenders and was Mr. Rock Solid once more.
Kemp: 6.5. With the ball mainly on the right flank, didn’t need to be too active. Blew by a couple midfielders, but crosses and passes still need work.
Kassel: 9. Perhaps one of the nation’s best marksmen, his point totals will only continue to rise quickly.
Cortes: 7. Filled in nicely for injured Doug Rodkey, beating defenders with ease and setting up some great chances.
Yates: 7.5. Did a better job of retaining possession and setting up his teammates. Drew a penalty kick and connected for his first tally of the season.
Forbess: 6. Wisely deferred to some of the other, hotter midfielders and forwards Tuesday. Still looking for his first goal.
Townsend: 10. Three goals in 35 minutes. Not too shabby.
Herrick: 7. Nearly stretched his scoring streak to three games several times, but nonetheless did everything else Cirovski asked of him up top.
