Hello everyone.
It’s about a quarter ’til 11, more than an hour before kickoff of the Terrapin football team’s ACC opener against Clemson.
We’re here bright and early on a Saturday, and it feels like it might as well be 8 o’clock. It really makes the Terps’ win over Cal last season seem more and more reasonable.
I couldn’t even imagine trying to play a football game right now if I was on Eastern time, let alone Pacific time.
Still, the tailgaters were out en masse on our walk over to Byrd, and a few rows of faithful students are already in the student section.
We saw a good amount of orange on campus, and definitely expect a lot of Clemson fans to be in the house.
Some Clemson players are starting to trot out onto the field to warm up. They are wearing white jerseys and white pants with orange helmets and orange trim.
I’ll be back with any pregame personnel news as it comes up.
