Plenty of things have changed with this post-bye week edition of the Terp football team’s injury report.
Morgan Green might have gotten his opportunity to play at running back with Gary Douglas “still tentative” as he recovers from an AC joint shoulder injury suffered against Virginia. Instead, the junior and key special teams player is out with a leg injury. That moves D.J. Adams into the No. 4 running back position, though the true freshman has yet to play.
Guard Bennett Fulper is out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, which could force another true freshman, Pete White, into action.
And just as Carl Russell was making an impact at anchor, he is out with an upper body injury.
It will be very interesting to see if coach Ralph Friedgen ends up using new players Saturday at N.C. State.
Out for season:
OT Tyler Bowen (foot)
CB Nolan Carroll (leg)
OG Bennett Fulper (shoulder)
Out:
TE Matt Furstenburg (leg)
RB Morgan Green (leg)
LB Demetrius Hartsfield (hand)
DE Carl Russell (upper body)
RB Da’Rel Scott (wrist)
