About to Kick Off in Raleigh

November 7th, 2009 01:01 pm by Greg Schimmel

RALEIGH, N.C.– It’s almost time for kickoff here at Carter-Finley Stadium, and for better or worse there is little news to report.

A team spokesman said there are “no surprises” on the injury front, so everybody who is supposed to be here is and everybody who isn’t supposed to be here isn’t.

Running back Gary Douglas is back in action after he sat out the Duke game with a shoulder injury, though he is listed third on the depth chart behind Davin Meggett and Caleb Porzel.

Guard Lamar Young is also back in uniform after he missed the Duke game with a shoulder injury, but Paul Pinegar and Justin Lewis are listed as the starting guards on the depth chart.

People are still streaming in, but there are still plenty of good seats available.

Ben Pooler and Devonte Campbell carried the flags onto the field for the Terps.

Back with an update after the first quarter.
