The school has announced Greivis Vasquez is this season’s ACC Player of the Year and Gary Williams is ACC Coach of the Year. Here are the exact voting totals, per the prepared release from the Athletics Department:
POY: Vasquez- 39 votes, Duke guard Jon Scheyer- 12 votes, Virginia Tech guard Malcom Delaney- two votes.
COY: Williams- 42 votes, Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski eight votes, Virginia Tech coach Seth Greenberg- two votes, Florida State coach Leonard Hamilton- one vote.
ROY: Georgia Tech forward Derrick Favors- 45 votes, Terps’ forward Jordan Williams – 6 votes
